Free Meals for Keiki this Summer


Summer Meal Program at Kāneʻohe Elementary and Pūʻōhala Elementary

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Education will serve meals free of charge over the summer to children ages 18 and younger – regardless of public-school enrollment status. Summer meals are offered for on-campus dining only; there is no grab-and-go option. Children do not have to be enrolled at a participating school to be served. Beginning June 9th, the Seamless Summer Option program will serve meals at select schools Monday through Friday, excluding state-observed holidays. Breakfast will be served from 7:15 am - 8:45 am and lunch will be served from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at Kāneʻohe Elementary and Pūʻōhala Elementary. Aloha United Way 2-1-1 Call Center


Aloha United Way’s 2-1-1 service is Hawai’i’s only comprehensive statewide information and referral helpline.  Aloha United Way's 2-1-1 Specialists are specifically trained to help you find food, shelter, financial assistance, childcare, parenting support, kūpuna care, disability services, and health services related to COVID-19 and vaccinations.  The Aloha United Way 2-1-1 call center is open daily between 7:00 am – 10:00 pm:

Kualoa-Heʻeia Ecumenical Youth (KEY) Project was founded in 1968 through the efforts of churches, community residents, and social service agencies.
