HB 2148 - Relating to Family Leave
I am happy to report that grandparents are now included under the Hawai‘i State Family Leave Law. My bill, HB 2148, extended family leave in the State to include care for employees’ grandchildren. Thank you to the Rezada family (shown below) for bringing this issue to my attention and continuing to partner with me to pass this law.
